Associate Professor / Assistant Professor (Programme Leader – Social Sciences)

Department of Applied Social Sciences

職責

To manage and oversee the implementation and operation of the Progrmame

To undertake the development of the existing Programme

To ensure the quality of the Programme by ensuring the enforcement of the quality assurance mechanisms of the Institute in relation to the Programme

To be responsible for the accreditation/recognition exercises of the Programme

To oversee the academic staff in the furtherance of the work of the Progrmame

To be responsible for the allocation and effective use of the resources made available to the Programme

To be the Chairperson of Programme Committee

To advise the Institute on studies and any other matters of importance, such as research matters, to the work of the Institute

資歷要求

Holder of a Doctoral Degree in social science related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution

Minimum 6 years of working and/or teaching experience in tertiary institution with at least 4 years programme management experience and external accreditation

Strong leadership with the ability to plan strategically and handle complex issues tactfully in a fast-changing environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
