HKCT and The Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners signed MoU to commit to nurture talent in hotel industry

 
 

HKCT (HKCT Institute of Higher Education and Hong Kong College of Technology) and The Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners (FHKHO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further strengthen their partnership and contribute to the cultivation of talent in the hotel industry. The signing ceremony took place today (July 3) at the HKCT Jockey Club Undergraduate Campus, with Caspar TSUI, Executive Director of the Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners and Ada LI, Acting President of HKCT, signing the MoU.

Under the agreement, the two parties will collaborate to organise Other Learning Experiences (OLE) workshops for students from different secondary schools. The Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners will also serve as a consultant and collaborative organisation for HKCT's tourism, hotel, culinary arts, and food-related courses, and will provide internship opportunities for HKCT students to apply their knowledge in practice. FHKHO will furthermore sponsor or provide scholarships for students to participate in overseas internships or conferences, broadening their international perspectives and enriching their learning experiences.
