HKCT and GIEC signed MoU to jointly establish international professional talent cultivation platform

 
 

HKCT Institute of Higher Education (HKCT) and Guangzhou International Economics College (GIEC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly promote the establishment of an international professional talent cultivation and career development platform, and to cooperate in areas such as co-organised courses, professional training, curriculum development, scientific research, and academic exchanges. The MoU was signed by LAM Sum, Associate Vice President of HKCT and KANG Zheng, Chairman of the Board of the China International Education Group and Chairman of GIEC yesterday (17 June) at GIEC.

LAM Sum, Associate Vice President of HKCT, pointed out that HKCT is committed to promoting the development of Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) to meet the talent needs brought about by economic changes. "We are pleased to collaborate with GIEC and hope to combine the strengths of both schools in vocational education to achieve the missions and visions of both institutions, providing young people in both regions with more market-oriented and practical courses."
