Lecturer / Assistant Lecturer (Food & Beverage)

Division of Hospitality & Applied Learning

Duties

Discipline area: Culinary, Catering, Food and Beverage Management, Food Service and Production Operation
Perform teaching and student supervision
Supervise and coordinate all practical kitchen issues and ensure smooth operations; including but not limited to procurement of kitchen equipment, procurement of F&B commodities, maintain food hygiene and safety
Carry out academic and students activities and duties for quality assurance
Coordinate teachers for effective delivery of teaching
Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 2 years of experience in catering or F&B management
Teaching experience in the related discipline in tertiary education sector is preferred
Good command in both written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
Good knowledge in MS Office application (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Chinese word processing
Preference will be given to those with strong academic / professional experience and professional qualifications
Immediate availability is preferred
